How do I access the @SEA software from other PCs onboard?

Our @SEA software must only be installed on ONE pc/server onboard, so if you wish to access it from other PCs (for example from the bridge, ECR, deck office, or a cabin) it must be done via the Local Area Network (LAN). 

To setup: 

1. On the PC/Server that is running the software find the file Confic.json. (It is usually located here: c:\program files (x86)\Seahealth2015\st)

2. Open confic.json using notepad

3. Find the line that starts with "Url":

4. Note the URL. This is your link to access the software via webbrowser from all other PCs on the same LAN.

5. On the PC you wish to access software on, open a web browser and input the URL you noted in step 4. (in above example: http://SHW-LAP-10:80)

Note - if you wish to access via tablet or smartphone the URL needs to be converted to an IP Adresse. See this instruction.
